The Department takes pride in its ability to serve the needs of our community and county. Each day, our citizens call upon our firefighters, paramedics to respond to a variety of emergencies including residential and commercial fires, emergency medical responses, hazardous materials and special rescues. Fire prevention and education also play a major role in our service to the community. The Hobbs Fire Department is committed to the preservation of life and property and to increase the quality of life to our citizens.
